ABSTRACT: Pass the Plea highlights and encourages Black American prosecutors following in the jurisprudential tradition of Charles Hamilton Houston to socially engineer a more equitable criminal justice system. In this piece, I encourage Black Prosecutors to advocate for racially conscious charging decisions, equitable sentencing recommendations, and the support of international anti-apartheid provisions in public issue campaigns for reform.
